Welcome to August/September News

We hope you find the website user friendly and packed with interesting products and information. Please let us know if you encounter any problems or have any suggestions. We will be constantly adding to the site so do come back. And if you have any photos of our products being used in the great outdoors we would welcome them.

This year we have set up manufacturing at our premises here in Devon. We wanted full control over quality and design and the support from our customers has been remarkable. With a few teething problems (to be expected) we are now almost totally self-sufficient. Judging by our order book and testimonials, our customers much prefer quality goods MADE IN BRITAIN. Our thanks to Karen who has spent many a late night finishing goods for shows and orders!

The CLA show was a record breaker for us with MADE IN BRITAIN being a major draw. Thank you to all who came in to support us though the weather on Sunday was blistering! Personal thanks to the kind gentleman who hauled me back to my feet after I ran out of steam and couldn't get up. I do hope the ‘Scary Biker'...actually he was lovely...is enjoying the cowhide he bought from us. He uses a tent on his biker travels filled with skins. Apparently, especially when he wears a kilt, the tent is a real ‘chick puller'. Hmm...

This weekend, Aug 21st and 22nd, Hugh (Beloved Leader) and Mary, who is charming and lovely, (aka Secret Weapon- she WILL sell you items you never knew you needed so badly!) will be doing a new show for us Royal Country Game Fair at Mapledurham House, near Reading. If you are going please drop in to meet Beloved Leader and Secret Weapon. And mention you read this newsletter please.

Following Mapledurham they will be off to the Fenlands Fair, Chatsworth and Blenheim Int'l Horse Trials in the run-up to the Midlands Game Fair, Sept 18-19. We will have our very popular Gunslips and Drag Bags back in stock by then which will make many of you happy.

The weekend after the Midland, 25-26 Sept, Karen and I will be ‘let out' to do the Malvern Autumn Fair. Please come and support us so that our Beloved Leader lets us out again, once in awhile.

Thank you always for your continued support!
