The background of this coat is military. It was developed to meet all the requirements of Special Forces around the world. The Falkland coat was named as such when the Falkland Police adopted the coat. Today this coat is our Flagship. We believe it will meet all the requirements one looks for in a coat of this quality.

The coat is made in Britain and as such comes with a 4 year guarantee which covers any repair or accident that might happen.

The outer coat is Ripstop faced with a Proline waterproof dropliner. The inner coat is Pertex/Mini-Ripstop with an isotherm filler.

Our Falklands coat has a wealth of features including built-in handwarmers, drop down waterproof seat, a high collar for warmth, wire framed and shapeable hood, detachable poachers pocket and inner coat zipped pocket.

This 3-in-one coat offers the flexibility of three combinations: either a lightweight, waterproof outer or a warm shower proof inner or wear the two together for maximum warmth and protection. The inner and outer coat zip into each other easily. The Falklands coat is truly a coat for all seasons and conditions.

"I bought the Falklands jacket and two pairs of Falklands trousers at the Kent County show in 2007. Being a deerstalker and shooting man, I have used them extensively now for three years in all weathers from sunshine, to driving rain and snow both standing still for long periods, crawling and long fast walking. They no longer look new and have a wicked gash on one knee from jumping over a barbed wire fence, but they are still totally functioning. Having tried so many different types of outdoor clothing over many decades, I can state that these are far and away the best I have tried and all my other serious outdoor clothing (tens of jackets and trousers) is now redundant. "

"My current ARKTIS FALKLANDS coat has been with me since 14 December 1998.it cost me 302.36 gbp then, [Not much more today ] and is still in very good condition,a bit fraid,its been worn daily through the autumn/winter months,Its never let me down.I have now bought a new one from Country Covers,Its still the same quality as my 1998 one,I can only add that these coats are the best there is"
