The technology of our waterproofs combined with the lightweight properties of the stowaway shirt resulted in a tremendous lightweight jacket that packs down into its own hood and weighs only 370g. The Rainshield can be worn underneath our Sniper Smock, this is why it has a narrow profile. The concept is that the pockets of the outer smock remain in use even if the smock is wet, while the wearer remains dry and efficient within the inner Rainshield. A flexible system is achieved that allows the user a lightweight solution to all weather conditions.
